Separatist rebels in Eastern Ukraine are preventing Dutch forensic experts from taking the bodies of Malaysian Airlines 17 from the site of the crash, prompting international criticism of Russia and President Putin. President Obama on Monday morning called for Putin to pressure separatists to cooperate. “Time is of the essence, our friends and allies need to be able to recover those who were lost,” Obama said, during a speech at the White House. There have also been accusations of separatists tampering with the evidence at the scene of the crash.
