United And American Airlines Furlough 32,000 U.S. Workers

Chicago-based United Airlines and American Airlines are moving forward with plans to furlough 32,000 workers as federal stimulus talks continue. The companies had spent months threatening to cut jobs if the government didn’t step in by October.
