Protesters are calling for the resignation of Mexican President Peña Nieto. They’re angry about how the government has handled the case of 43 students who went missing earlier this year. We’ll talk with Laura Carlsen of the Center for International Policy. And, as fighting on Ukraine’s eastern border continues, there are ongoing movements to rebuild vital institutions within the country and challenge corruption within the new government. Julian Hayda, a member of Group for Tomorrow’s Ukraine, joins us to talk about what the Ukrainian American community is doing. Marta Farion, an attorney and president of Kyiv Mohyla Foundation of America, also joins us to talk about the future of Ukraine. Then, Gawad Kalinga is a poverty alleviation and development NGO based in the Philippines. We’ll talk with the group’s founder and executive Director, Tony Meloto.
