This week the United States and the U.K. announced they would suspend all non-lethal aid to rebel groups in Northern Syria. Non-lethal aid includes items such as communications equipment and body armor. In the meantime, winter storms have also hit the country and many refugees inside the country remain without electrical power and heat.
