During a trip to Pakistan on Thursday U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that the U.S. planned to re-establish a “full-partnership” with Pakistan. He also said “We are here to speak honestly with each other, openly about any gaps that may exist that we want to try to bridge,” Reuters reported. The relationship has been strained in recent years, in part because of U.S. drone strikes on the country. Mujahid Ghazi is president of the Asian Broadcasting Network.
