In the midst of our spring pledge drive we’re constantly giving listeners reasons to donate to WBEZ. The latest incentive to join High Fidelity, our monthly giving program, is the High Fidelity Music Series. This is five intimate concerts held in our performance studio and presented by Goose Island’s 312 Presents. High Fidelity members of WBEZ are given the first crack at free tickets, then around 100 of them get to attend the show.

We had the first concert in February. Empty Bottle Presents booked London’s Veronica Falls for the show and they tore through an eight-song set of perfect pop songs with gloomy lyrics to the delight of the rapt crowd.
