Attorney General Lisa Madigan is in the news today for the reason she’s always in the news: suing somebody.

Her office is suing four local companies for, according to the Sun-Times, allegedly conducting “fraudulent mortgage rescue or loan modification schemes that illegally charged consumers for little if any help to avoid foreclosure.”

When Madigan appeared on The Interview Show earlier this year, we talked about her office’s efforts to combat mortgage fraud and how her office works in general — before I oh-so-delicately switched to asking her to tell the story of how she met her husband.
