New fighting has erupted in the CAR, with Christian militias trying to “block the evacuation of Muslims,” Reuters reports. Muslims have been fleeing to nearby Chad and Cameroon, fearing revenge attacks by Christian militia and what the U.N. has called “ethnic-religious cleansing.” Entire neighborhoods and towns have been emptied of their Muslim populations.
