Bestselling NYT author Walter Isaacson has written biographies of some of the world’s most famous names in technology including Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein. Now he turns his sights to innovation and the myriad of names - some well known, others not, who created the digital revolution, and yes, who created the Internet. Walter Isaacson is the CEO of The Aspen Institute and the author of The Innovators: How a group of hackers, geniuses and geeks created the digital revolution, the book starts in the mid 19th century and takes us up to present day, from Ada Lovelace to IBM, and Texas Instruments to Apple. He joins us in studio today to discuss the digital revolution and, of course, tell us who created the Internet.
