Water is the most basic of resources. One environmental organization, Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME), also believes that sharing and maintaining water resources can lead to the creation of “necessary conditions for lasting peace” in the Middle East. FoEME is the only tri-lateral organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli environmentalists.
