25 years ago, WBEZ broke away from the Chicago Board of Education to become an independent public radio station. Many of those conversations took place on the show Worldview. Worldview is a very rare animal in radio — it’s a locally-produced program that focuses on global affairs. Jerome McDonnell has hosted the show for more than two decades. He joins us to talk about how the show and coverage of stories from around the world has evolved since it all began.
