Join WBEZ in person to watch the election returns! Our political team will live broadcast the returns on Tuesday, November 4th at Haymarket Pub & Brewery.

We’ll kick things off at 6pm with a first round of beer on Haymarket for the first 150 folks to join us. Then, at 7pm, we’ll go live with hosts Niala Boodhoo and Melba Lara, featuring commentary and analysis from some of the best minds in Illinois politics. Live musical transitions provided by Andrew Edwards of Blue Police Box Music.

In between on-air segments, audiences will be treated to off-air, one-of-a-kind performances, stories, music and games featuring local comedians, theatre artists and storytellers.

We expect the event to reach capacity fairly quickly and, truly, we cannot accomodate any more than 150 at one time. Please show up early and enjoy this unique, one-of-a-kind radio experience.
