Lincoln Yards, a proposed office and housing development on Chicago’s North Side, cleared a key hurdle Thursday as City Hall’s Zoning Committee voted to approve the plan.

Lori Lightfoot and Toni Preckwinkle faced off in a contentious debate Thursday night. Both candidates for mayor of Chicago accused each other of corruption. Lightfoot’s campaign was bolstered Friday morning by an endorsement from former mayoral candidate Willie Wilson.
