The Supreme Court has ruled that the Constitution guarantees a nationwide right to same sex marriage and this weekend, Chicago will celebrate the 46th Annual Chicago Pride Parade and Pride Weekend. There are a number of international pride events taking place, including a pride Shabbat dinner, that will be followed by a discussion on LGBT rights in Israel. Global citizen Nari Safavi and Elliot Vaisrub Glassenberg, director of International Communication for BINA: Jewish Pluralism & Social Action in Israel, and Rabbi D’ror Chankin Gould, of Anshe Emet Synagogue, joins us to discuss tonight’s event and the gay rights movement in Israel.
