Chicago-based South Asian performing arts organization Mandala Arts presents “Ratri: Music and Dance of the Night,” an afternoon of Indian classical dance, this Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Logan Center for the Arts. The performance features a blend of Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Kuchipudi dance styles, and will be accompanied by musicians from the Chicago South Asian community.

Mandala Arts Executive Director Pranita Nair joins the show today to talk about the performance, and accompanying her will be two of the performers: Laksha Dantran and Mandala Arts Program Manager Ashwaty Chennat.
