Every Tuesday afternoon, Queen Elizabeth II, from age 25 to current day, is briefed by the Prime Minister in private. What were her conversations like with leaders such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher? TimeLine Theatre’s new production “The Audience” offers a glimpse into British history and the Queen’s role in shaping the country.
Director of “The Audience,” Nick Bowling, and Janet Ulrich Brooks, who stars as Queen Elizabeth II, join Worldview for a discussion. The play has been extended through Dec. 3 at TimeLine Theatre. Global citizen Nari Safavi will also clue us into more global events to check out this weekend.
