We expect all of them will become readers of this blog. (OK, maybe just the English speakers). We aim to galvanize soccer fans with the best World Cup chatter imaginable. Our World Cup radio shows will be the finest in the U.S (OK there’s not much competition). For the last World Cup we had a contest to identify the most discerning World Cup fanatics in our audience. Because we loved Euan Hauge, Dan Shalin, and Pavel Yusim so much they are back, as is our longtime friend, reporter Jesse Hardman. We’re adding some new blood with Ahmed Rehab and Mike Madero (in South Africa) and Algeria specialist Assia Boundaoui. I’ll pitch in my hair brained thoughts on the world’s biggest sporting event and I think you’ll find this blog the best DAILY reflection on the World Cup. We’ll be at the viewing parties at Daley Plaza and Montrose Harbor on the 11th and 12th. Hope to see you there. Let’s get it started already!
