Pearls Mahone describes herself as a vintage Hillbilly Boppin’ Starlet who’s firmly planted herself in the land of twang. Mahone has been singing since childhood and for awhile she was ripping up the joint with her brash rockabilly style. These days her states lie with the Western Swing style epitomized by the great Bob Wills. That sound is captured on her latest release “Echoes of the Prairie”. She’s performs some of those tunes with her band on the Morning Shift ahead of her Friday night gig at the Hideout.
