What Parents Need To Know About The New Child Tax Credit

The expanded Child Tax Credit is projected to lift more than five million children out of poverty. Payments start going out Thursday.

Starting Thursday, tens of millions of families will receive monthly payments of up to $300 per child as part of the newly expanded Child Tax Credit under President Biden’s American Rescue Plan.
