Elections can feel overwhelming – but we’re here to help. WBEZ, the Chicago Sun-Times and the University of Chicago Institute of Politics want to help Chicagoans see where mayoral candidates stand on the issues that matter most to you. So we’re collecting questions from the public that we’ll put to the candidates leading up to the Feb. 28 city elections.

Here’s how your responses will be used:

  • Your input will inform our campaign coverage leading up to Election Day, including an email newsletter and Sun-Times editorials based on the most-raised issues.

  • On Feb. 7 and 8, Reset will host mayoral candidate forums where we’ll be asking some of your questions directly to the candidates. Tune into WBEZ 91.5FM — or you can register to attend the remote broadcasts in-person at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago.

  • We’ll make a digital candidate guide to help you make sense of the large pool of mayoral candidates – and discover where they stand on the issues you care most about.
