As if winter weren’t hard enough, the Omicron variant is rampant nationwide. New precautions are cropping up. The messages about how to act are confusing. So this week, we called on “our resident epidemiologist,” Dr. Emily Landon, to answer listener questions about the state of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Landon is an infectious disease specialist at the University of Chicago. We dig into school safety, testing, and the hardships that healthcare workers are facing daily.
