Well, you can say goodbye to Alexander Hamilton. The U.S. Treasury announced this week that a woman’s portrait will be on the $10 bill starting in 2020. That year, of course, is the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew gets to make the decision on who the honoree will be, and he’ll announce his choice by the end of the year. In the meantime, he’s taking suggestions.
