Mayor Lori Lightfoot is urging residents to stay at home as cases and hospitalizations surge across the city.

Starting Monday, Chicago residents are strongly advised to not leave their homes and to avoid unnecessary contact with people outside their households. All social gatherings and meetings will also be limited to 10 people under the city’s new COVID-19 restrictions.
