Look at that hand. Iced up with a championship ring, y'all (WBEZ/Katie O'Brien)

We haven’t had a good Wikipedia Files sit-down since the turn of the year when we grabbed THE Stacey King at the United Center. So when news came that Frank Thomas was coming in studio, we jumped. Thomas did a quick two day press tour for a book he wrote the foreword on. It’s called “Going Yard: The Everything HOME RUN Book.”

Thomas is arguably one of the most popular Chicago baseball players of all time. He did stir up controversy while in town with contract spats and media criticism, but most of his damage came on the baseball field against opposing pitchers (most notably any Minnesota Twin).

Thomas is now retired and many predict he will make the Hall of Fame. Will he make the Hall of Fame of Wikipedia Files? Let’s find out.

Wikipedia Files is a video podcast where we ask the subject to fact-check their Wikipedia page.
