Burma’s government says it’s investigating the recent mass killing of Rohingya Muslims in the country’s Western Rakhine province, but it insists that foreigners not interfere. The U.N. reports that Buddhist mobs killed just under 50 Rohingya in the latest round of violent unrest in the area. Graeme Wood is contributing editor at The Atlantic. He was recently in Burma to investigate what’s happening to the Rohingya Muslims.
