Manisha Gupte, a leader in the gender and health rights movement of India joins us to discuss the status of women’s rights in India. She’s worked on women’s issues since the 1970’s. Gupte co-founded Mahila Saravangeen Utkarsh Mandal (MASUM), a rural women’s rights organization in India’s Maharashtr State.
