Working Bikes describes itself as an organization that “rescues discarded bikes and gives them new life as tools of empowerment in local and global communities.” 

We talk with Paul Fitzgerald, manager at Working Bikes and Angela Ford, owner of TAG Properties, a sustainable Real Estate consulting firm. They tell us about their recent projects abroad and upcoming events in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. At one such event later this month, they’ll give away more than 500 children’s bikes. Fitzgerald and Ford will also talk about their 2nd annual “Lawndale Lovin’ Ride” with Slow Roll Chicago on June 22nd, 2016.
