A deal between the EU and Turkey will send some illegal migrants in Greece back to Turkey. An estimated 11,000 migrants and refugees are camped around the Greek-Macedonian border town of Idomeni. Dr. Zaher Sahloul, a Syrian-American and his wife, Suzanne Akhras Sahloul, are just back from Indomeni to tell us what they witnessed. Also, Chile is one of several Latin American countries with a total ban on abortion, but recently, Chile’s lower chamber voted to legalize abortion in certain cases. Lessie Jo Frazier of Indiana University will tell us about the abortion debate in Chile. And Ching Ming is an annual festival when the Chinese pay respects to their ancestors by sweeping their graves and leaving gifts for the deceased. WBEZ’s Monica Eng, the Chicago Tribune’s Luisa Chu and Bernie Wong, of the Chinese American Service League, will share their family traditions.
