Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz recently released the names of their foreign policy teams. While many critics see their choices as too hawkish, others say regardless of political party, at their core, the foreign policies of the presidential candidates are similar. Vijay Prashad, chair in South Asian history and professor of international studies at Trinity College, joins us to talk about the foreign policy proposals of the 2016 race. There’s a debate in Congress over how to deal with Puerto Rico’s debt crisis.
