Wrigleyville has undergone a transformation in recent years with the arrival of new buildings and businesses and the departure of old staples. The change in urban landscape has come at the same time the team has risen to the top of the National League Central, winning the 2016 World Series and earning a playoff berth in 2017.

Before the postseason begins for the Cubs on Oct. 6, Morning Shift spoke with Danny Ecker of Crain’s Chicago Business about how the business of sports has reshaped Wrigleyville and what changes are still to come.
