Political scientist Yascha Mounk believes liberal democracy is under threat — here and around the globe. Worldview’s Jerome McDonnell recently sat down with Mounk in front of a live studio audience at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. We’ll hear an in-depth conversation titled “The People vs. Democracy.” Mounk is a senior lecturer in political theory at Harvard University and author of the book The People vs. Democracy: Why Our Freedom Is in Danger and How to Save It. The event was joint produced by CCGA and WBEZ.
