On this installment of the Barber Shop Show, host Richard Steele was joined by Chaz Ebert. Robertebert.com, the Chicago Urban League, and Columbia College’s High School journalism program have teamed up to train a diverse batch of aspiring film critics. We were also joined by: • Danielle Parker, Director for the Center for Student Development, at the Chicago Urban League, • Brenda Butler, Executive Director of the Columbia Links program, and two young critics: • Kinnedy Broughton, a junior at Lincoln Park High School, and • Messiah Young, a senior at Kenwood Academy Then, we’ll talked about the Chicago police officer who has filed a lawsuit against the family of the young man he shot and killed.
