President Donald Trump says he will be discharged from the Walter Reed Military Medical Center as early as Monday evening.
President Trump has been at the facility since Friday evening for coronavirus treatment. In a tweet, he said, “Don’t be afraid of Covid.“
During Wednesday’s debate, Pence will be asked to explain the president’s health. He will also be expected to justify Trump’s cavalier approach toward campaigning during a pandemic.
The new term, which begins Monday, will see eight justices, not the usual nine. And because of COVID-19, once again the justices will gather by telephone hookup to hear the arguments.
