The conservative Thomas More Society announced its challenge to Chicago’s “bubble zone” ordinance outside a Planned Parenthood clinic on the Near North Side. The ordinance creates a “bubble” 50 feet from the entrance to healthcare facilities -- including abortion clinics. Within that area people heading inside cannot be approached -- or shown signs or passed leaflets -- without their consent. Attorney Stephen Crampton argued that the law is unconstitutional.
