It's Thursday and time for our Global Activism series. Each Thursday we hear about an individual who's decided to work to make the world a better place.

In March 2007, we featured the Vocation Training for Children at Risk in Ethiopia project on our Global Activism series. Founded by two former Peace Corps volunteers, the organization provides vocation training to sexually abused and destitute teens in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia .

Today, we'll hear from the organization that helps choose the children that participate in the Vocational Training for Children at Risk project. Children Aid Ethiopia , or CHAD-ET, helps over 4,000 homeless and orphaned children in Ethiopia . They provide the children with health services and education, and work to stop the sexual exploitation of children on the streets.
