In a new article in Slate, New America fellow Yascha Mounk has a short list of things Russia has done in recent months to de-legitimize basic Western democratic institutions. Among them, supporting a far-right populist movement in France, blackmailing Canada’s new liberal foreign minister with her grandparents and bribing Syrian refugees in Stockholm to riot.
