Here’s a fact for you: 23,000 Americans die each year from antibiotic-resistant infections. It’s something health advocates know all too well. For years, they’ve been pushing for fewer antibiotics in livestock. And to achieve that, they’ve been working to drive up demand for antibiotic-free meat in restaurants.
