All across the world people are sporting green and making plans to have corned beef and cabbage for supper, or maybe just a Shamrock shake. Many showed their Irish pride over the weekend at Chicago’s annual South Side Irish parade. Chicago’s Irish community was once its most prominent. While the community’s prevalence in the city has diminished, its legacy remains.
