British folk punk icon Billy Bragg has been a champion of working people for his entire musical career – now spanning more than three decades – not unlike his hero and influence, Woody Guthrie. He joins the Afternoon Shift to play a few songs and talk about his years as an activist and songwriter and his thoughts on deceased British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
