In citing Indiana’s passage of its Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Indiana’s Governor Mike Pence says several other states, including Illinois, have similar laws on the books. But there is a substantial difference between the states when it comes to discrimination of this kind. And that’s why there’s so much concern from Indiana’s LGBT community that Indiana’s new law could be used against them.
