Do you remember in social studies or history class when you had to learn about President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address? Renowned director and producer Ken Burns’ new documentary “The Address” airs tonight on PBS about a special needs boarding school in Vermont that helps students learn the Gettysburg Address. The all-boy school has students ranging in age 11 to 17 with a range of “complex learning differences.” We see them as they learn and publicly perform Lincoln’s 1863 speech. Ken Burns joins us to talk the film and his initiative ‘Learn the Address.‘
