MasterCard wants to put your selfie game to good use

I'm just gonna go ahead and declare it, even though it's only Tuesday, it's this weeks sign the apocalypse is upon us.

The BBC is reporting that MasterCard has come up with a new way to keep our transactions secure.

Forget passwords, selfies are the new new thing for authenticating transactions.

You download an app, it scans your face, asks you to blink — so that it knows you're not using a picture — and boom, you're validated.
