On this day in 1912, the RMS Titanic began its descent into the cold waters of the North Atlantic. The so-called unsinkable ship would take two hours and forty minutes to submerge, and more than 1500 people would die – mostly third class passengers and men. W. Mae Kent, author of the novel Titanic: the Untold Story, knows stories of the Chicago socialites who were on the ship. She talks about a famous Windy City couple.
