Over the course of its career, the band Califone has gradually expanded into the visual realm. So when frontman Tim Rutili embarked on making a feature-length film it only seemed natural that his band would score the soundtrack for it. The resulting All My Friends Are Funeral Singers is out now – both as a film and separately as the band’s new album.

Califone recently joined Alison Cuddy in our Jim and Kay Mabie Performance Studio to talk about these new projects. They began by performing their new song, “Funeral Singer.”
