The name Marvin Curtis may not ring a lot of bells. But the Chicago native has been bringing song from the concert halls of South Bend, Indiana, to the grand foyer of the White House. Curtis is Dean of the School of Arts at Indiana University South Bend. He’s also the conductor for the South Bend Symphonic Choir. He recently stopped by to talk to us about his journey. He says his early musical education in Chicago got him going.
