Combatting sexual assault on college campuses

Monday, Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan reinforced the idea that federal civil rights law obliges schools to respond to allegations of sexual violence. The timing is right-April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. In Chicago, area universities offer counseling and resources for victims, but some say more education is needed.
