Documentary Follows Aftermath of Cedar Rapids Flood
A year ago, the Midwest gained national attention for much more tragic reasons. But the floods that engulfed Cedar Rapids, Iowa in June of 2008 brought an estimated $6 billion in damage. Chicago-based documentary producer Tracy Ullman hopes to bring more attention to that devastation with her new film, City Under Water. It airs this Sunday evening on WTTW, channel 11. Alison Cuddy recently spoke with Ullman who was drawn to Iowa by her best friend, who lives there.
