Eight Forty-Eight for 03.15.12

Today, former Governor Rod Blagojevich reports to prison in Colorado. NPR’s David Schaper has followed Blagojevich’s career, from his days in the General Assembly in the 1990s to his corruption trial and conviction. He looks back on the governor’s colorful career in politics. And, Nathaniel Adams Coles, better known as Nat King Cole, would have been 93 this week. On their weekly music segment, WBEZ music lovers Tony Sarabia and Richard Steele remember Cole, who went to DuSable High School in Chicago, and revisit his rich catalog.
