Many fans of bestselling novelist Dan Brown have likely already devoured his latest thriller. The plot of The Lost Symbol revolves around the history and mystery of Freemasonry. The book is set in Washington, D.C., but Freemasonry has a long history throughout the world — including here in Chicago. Eric Diamond, past master and current historian of Chicago’s Oriental Masonic Lodge Number 33, tells us more.
