Six months from today, the Chicago election board will begin accepting petitions for candidates in city elections. Chicago residents will return to pick a mayor, city clerk, treasurer and all 50 aldermen. The big question, of course, is whether Mayor Richard Daley will seek a sixth full term. If he does, who will run against him? And if he doesn’t, who will try to replace him? WBEZ’s political reporter Sam Hudzik tries to answer some of those questions.
